Three people were injured in separate shootings minutes apart in Oakland on Friday night, a police spokeswoman said. Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 5700 block of Bancroft Avenue at 8:38 p.m., police Officer Johnna Watson said. A male victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound, she said. Then at 8:51 p.m., officers were dispatched to a shooting in the 2900 block of Havenscourt Boulevard, less than a mile away from the first shooting, according to Watson.

Arriving officers found a female victim with a gunshot wound, Watson said. Two minutes later, police responded to a shooting in the 1200 block of Campbell Street in West Oakland where officers found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound, she said. All the victims were transported to a hospital for injuries not considered life-threatening, the spokeswoman said. An update on the victims’ conditions was not immediately available late this morning. No further details were immediately available.
