Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives need your help to locate suspect Richard Robinson. A felony warrant has been issued for Robinson’s arrest for Escape in the 2nd degree.
At approximately 5:30 p.m. on Saturday November 8th, 2014, suspect Richard Robinson escaped from custody at the Pierce County Jail. Robinson was a trustee at the jail and was working in the kitchen area; as the trash was being taken out by workers, Robinson fled the kitchen area and jumped a fence to escape.
Richard Robinson was being held in the Pierce County Jail for two counts of Burglary in the 1st degree, three counts of Theft of a Firearm, and two counts of Trafficking Stolen Property.
Richard Reginald Robinson is a white male, 31 years old, 5’7” tall, 180 lbs., with light brown hair and hazel eyes. He has several tattoos including “Made in Tacoma” across his chest, “Robinson” around his upper right arm, and images of a grim reaper and a tazmanian devil on his left forearm.
