Vallejo police are looking for a female suspect who stole a package that was just dropped off by the United Parcel Service at an east Vallejo residence Wednesday morning. The suspect was seen following the UPS truck on foot in the neighborhood of 200 Turnberry Way around 11:50 a.m., Lt. Sid DeJesus said.

She was caught on surveillance video walking up to the residence’s front porch after the truck left, picking up the package and calmly walking out of the area, DeJesus said. There were no known vehicles associated with the suspect in the area, DeJesus said.

Police released a photograph of the suspect. Police are advising residents to have a trusted neighbor secure their packages when they are not home, or arrange with UPS to leave them in a concealed area out of public view.
