Suspect Allegedly Uses Stolen Credit Card in Petaluma, Police Release Suspect Photo

Petaluma police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who stole credit cards and other personal items from a car last week. The theft occurred sometime between 6 p.m. Monday Oct. 27, and 11 a.m. the following Tuesday in the 2100 block of Appaloosa, according to Petaluma police.

The victim’s vehicle was parked while the suspect entered it to steal several credit cards and other personal items, police said. Then on Oct. 29, surveillance cameras captured the suspect entering a Macy’s department store in San Rafael and using one of the stolen credit cards to purchase various items.
