Deputies arrested a man in King City Friday after they said he held his ex-girlfriend and another man at gunpoint during an altercation. Monterey County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded around 11:30 p.m. to a residence in the 600 block of Oats Avenue in King City. Deputies said David Jose Hernandez, 33, was armed with a semi-automatic handgun when he forced entry into his ex-girlfriend’s bedroom while she was with another man. Deputies said Hernandez would not allow the two to leave for about 15 minutes. He was later taken into custody without incident.
