Officers arrested two people in Sausalito on Sunday afternoon on suspicion of multiple drug and fraud-related offenses, police said. Police first received reports that two people were trying to use a fraudulent credit card to rent a hotel room around 5:50 p.m., according to Sausalito police Sgt. Stacie Gregory. Responding officers found Sara Regan, 30, of Contra Costa County, and Rovelea Cabiles, 27, of Daly City, and arrested both suspects after a thorough investigation, Gregory said.
Regan was arrested on suspicion of possession of fraudulent credit cards, unauthorized use of personal information, possession of stolen property, possession of methamphetamine for sale and providing false information to a police officer. Regan was also arrested on two no-bail felony warrants out of Yolo County, according to Gregory. Cabiles was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia, with bail set at $5,000. Both suspects were booked into the Marin County Jail.
