Fairfield police arrested a woman on suspicion of carjacking and two men for weapon offenses Sunday.
The carjacking occurred around 1:30 p.m. Sunday on San Marco Street in Fairfield when a female entered the van of a landscaper looking for work, police said.
The woman, identified as Ameriah Carey Sandoval, 23, of Fairfield, allegedly threatened the landscaper with scissors, robbed the landscaper and stole the van, police said.
A police officer spotted the stolen van in Allan Witt Park and arrested a man who fled from the van. He was caught at the west end of the park and Sandoval and a second man in the van were taken into custody as well, police said.
Sandoval was arrested on suspicion of robbery, carjacking, possession of a firearm and violation of probation, according to police.
Federico Uriel Vargas, 25, of Vacaville, was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of stolen property.
Eduardo Fuentes, 25, of Fairfield, was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, resisting arrest and a parole violation, police said.
All three were booked into Solano County Jail.
A short-barreled shotgun and scissors were found in the van, police said.
