Fremont Man Robbed by Men Wearing Black Hooded Sweatshirts, Police Investigating

A group of suspects remains at large after robbing a man in Fremont on Thursday evening. The robbery occurred around 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the area of Eggers Drive, according to Fremont police. The robbery victim was texting on his phone while walking northbound near a local school and was accosted by four to five suspects who shoved him to the ground and stole his phone and wallet, police said.

The victim could only describe the suspects as black men in their 20s wearing black hooded sweatshirts, according to police. The suspects were last seen running towards Eggers Common, police said.
