2 Men Arrested in Million Dollar Marijuana Grow Operation in San Ramon

Police arrested two San Ramon men Monday on suspicion of cultivating a $1 million marijuana growing operation. Acting on a search warrant, officers entered a home on Shadowhill Cirle and found evidence of a large-scale marijuana grow operation they estimated to be worth more than $1 million.

Police arrested Guo Yong Deng, 35, and Bofeng Huang, 25, on suspicion of cultivating marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, conspiracy, and theft of utilities. Huang was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility on $170,000 bail and Deng was released pending further investigation.
