Deputies on Friday arrested a King City man in connection with selling methamphetamine, according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said they a served a search warrant at 1272 Bluff Ave. after determining the resident, identified as Guadalupe Mendez, 33, was in possession of a large quantity of methamphetamine for sale.
Deputies said drugs, drug paraphernalia and various electronics were recovered from the residence, and Mendez was arrested. Deputies said two other men, identified as Jeremy Betancourt and Ruben Mendoza, were also taken into custody. Betancourt was taken into custody for probation violation and Mendoza for resisting and obstructing the investigation.
