A woman robbed a bank in San Francisco’s Richmond District on Wednesday afternoon, according to police. The robbery was reported at the Wells Fargo at the corner of Geary and Arguello boulevards at 3:52 p.m. Wednesday, an employee at the bank confirmed. The woman handed a 41-year-old teller a note demanding money. The teller gave her an undisclosed amount of cash and she fled on foot.

The suspect was described as a black woman in her 30s or 40s. She was wearing a pink tank top, gray sweatpants, a green baseball hat and was carrying a gray purse, police Officer Gordon Shyy said. Investigators are looking into whether the suspect might be responsible for other recent bank robberies as well.
