Police have arrested two men in connection with two strong-armed robberies this week in Fairfield.
Markuis Parker, 19, and Nakita Hubbard, 18, both of Fairfield, were arrested Thursday on suspicion of robbery, criminal conspiracy and assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Fairfield Police Department.
Police responded Monday at 4:30 p.m. to a strong-armed robbery in the 2100 block of North Texas Street and then again on Wednesday at 8:10 a.m. to a strong-armed robbery in the 100 block of East Alaska Avenue.
Police said both victims had their cell phones stolen by a group of approximately four suspects and were punched and kicked during the robberies.
Police said investigators identified two of the suspects as Parker and Hubbard, and the two were taken into custody.
