A man wanted for two separate indecent exposures in Marin County this month remains at large, a Central Marin Police Authority official said. On Sept. 5, officers responded to a report of an indecent exposure in the 800 block of San Anselmo Avenue in San Anselmo around 8:30 a.m., police Lt. Michael Norton said. A 60-year-old woman had been walking to work when a car pulled up by her and the driver appeared to be masturbating, Norton said. The driver then drove away and turned west to San Rafael Avenue, he said. Officers searched the area for the suspect without success.

The suspect was driving a silver Jaguar XJS with paper plates of a blue and white print and black wavy stripes, according to Norton. Then on Tuesday around 9:30 a.m., a similar incident happened in Fairfax where a 54-year-old woman said a man drove up to her in the area of Center Boulevard and Pastori Avenue, Fairfax police said. He drove in an older model gray sedan slowly behind her on Center Boulevard and she saw him masturbating as she crossed the street to Landsale Avenue, according to police.

The woman had been pushing a stroller with a child inside and quickly walked away from him but he followed her, said something similar to “Shhhhh” and drove toward a playground on San Anselmo Avenue in San Anselmo, police said. The woman described the suspect as a black man who is about 30 to 35 years old, standing around 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing from 185 to 200 pounds with a medium to dark complexion, black hair and dark brown eyes, according to Fairfax police said. Fairfax police released a sketch of the suspect after the incident, he said

On Friday in a follow-up interview with a Central Marin Police Authority officer, the victim in the San Anselmo indecent exposure confirmed after seeing the sketch that the suspect in the Fairfax incident was the same man she had seen masturbating two weeks ago, Norton said.
