Scotts Valley Police Looking For Hit-and-Run Suspect

Police are investigating a hit-and-run Monday night that injured a man in Scotts Valley.

Around 8:25 p.m., a customer was cleaning the front windshield of his vehicle at the Quik Stop gas station at 5400 Scotts Valley Drive when a small black sedan backed into him, according to police.

Police said the driver of the sedan fled the scene without checking on the man he hit.

The victim suffered an injury to his leg.

The vehicle was last seen heading south on Scotts Valley Drive.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about the vehicle is asked to call the Scotts Valley Police Department at (831) 440-5670.
