3 Burglary Suspects Found Hiding in Hayward Business’s Attic

Three burglary suspects were arrested after they were found hiding in a Hayward business’s attic early Monday morning, police said. Police responded to the business in the 22000 block of Foothill Boulevard at about 5:30 a.m. after a burglar alarm went off. The arriving officers were told that voices and power tools were heard inside the business, police said.

The officers surrounded the business and ordered the suspects to come outside but received no response. The police went inside and searched the business and found three suspects hiding in the attic and arrested them, police said. They found one of the suspects carrying the business’s property.

The three suspects were identified as Victor Manuel Cruz, 25; Ariel Dominguez-Toledo, 40; and Jose Montana-Gonzalez, 33. All three are transients, police said. Anyone with information regarding this incident has been asked to contact Detective Jason Mosby at (510) 293-7034.
