Joseph West and Baldeep Singh arrested on suspicion of burglarizing a home in Brentwood

Two men were arrested on suspicion of burglarizing a home in Brentwood on Monday morning, police said. Police received a report of a residential burglary in process on Cloverleaf Circle at 11:25 a.m. Upon arrival, police saw Joseph West, 18, of Antioch, and Baldeep Singh, 18, of Oakley, leaving the area of the burglary.

One suspect was immediately detained, while the other fled on foot before being caught hiding in a neighboring yard a short time later, police said. West and Singh were arrested and booked into the Contra Costa County Jail on burglary and conspiracy charges, according to police. All property taken during the burglary was recovered and returned to the homeowner, police said.
