Fresno Police Seek Help in Identifying Serial Robbery Suspect

ID #14-377

The Fresno Police Department needs your help in identifying a serial commercial robbery suspect. In the last month the same suspect has targeted four separate businesses, all in the Northwest District.

On June 26, 2014, around 12:20 pm, the suspect entered the Family Christian Store at 3072 W Shaw Ave and selected a piece of merchandise. He brought it up to the front counter and told the employee that “this is a robbery.” He said he had a gun in his waistband and demanded money. Fearing for her life, the employee complied.

On June 28, 2014, around 12:30 pm, the suspect entered CVS at 4077 W Clinton Ave and selected a piece of merchandise. He brought it to the front counter where he then passed a demand note to the cashier. The note stated that he wanted all the money in the register and no one would get hurt. The cashier feared for his life and gave the suspect the money.

On July 15, 2014, around 6:30 pm, the suspect entered Rite Aid at 2011 W Shaw Ave and asked for a scoop of ice cream. When the cashier rang up the ice cream, the suspect passed a demand note and brandished a small handgun that was tucked in his waistband. The cashier was unable to get the cash register open and the suspect fled the business empty handed.

On July 15, 2014, around 10:00 pm, the suspect entered Walgreens at 2424 N Brawley Ave and selected some merchandise. He brought it to the front counter where the cashier began to ring up the items. The suspect brandished a handgun in his waistband and demanded money from the register. The cashier feared for her life and gave the suspect he money.

The suspect is described by most as a White male, but may possibly be Hispanic. He is approximately 25-35 yrs old, 5’10-6’03, with a medium build. He is known to disguise himself. He has worn a surgical mask in the CVS robbery and a shoulder length black wig in the Rite Aid and Walgreens robberies. He has brandished a weapon and should be considered “armed and dangerous.”
