Man Visiting His Son Became Trapped in Jail for More Than 30 Hours

A visitor to Chicago’s Cook County Jail became trapped inside for about 30 hours over the July Fourth weekend.

A man was visiting his son when he accidently walked  into a  visiting room that wasn’t being used. The room’s door was propped open by contractors but then closed behind him.

The man finally after 30 hours got their attention by breaking a fire sprinkler head to call the fire department.
