Two carjacking and robbery suspects who fled a crash in West Oakland this morning were arrested, police said.

A suspected stolen car used in connection with an armed robbery was spotted at about 10:20 a.m., according to police.

Police tried to pull the car over, but the suspects would not stop and then crashed the car in the 3100 block of Market Street. Two suspects ran away from the crash, police said.

One suspect was captured quickly. Police set up a perimeter to look for the other suspect, shutting down streets and enlisting the assistance of an Emeryville police dog and a California Highway Patrol helicopter.

The second suspect was found hiding in a yard nearby, Oakland police said.
