Police are looking for two suspects who robbed a man outside his home in Pleasant Hill on Friday afternoon. The suspects approached a 23-year-old man who drove to his home in the 300 block of Golf Club Road around 4:10 p.m., according to police. One of the suspects pistol-whipped the man and demanded he hand over his car keys, wallet and cellphone, police said.
After the man handed over the items the suspect entered the vehicle and fled the scene, according to police. The man handed over the items and called police once the suspect fled in his vehicle, police said. He had complained of pain on the side of the head from the robbery, according to police. The suspects abandoned the man’s vehicle and fled in another car, according to police.
The man’s wallet was recovered in the area of Paso Nogal Road and Morello Avenue, more than a mile away from his home, police said. One of the suspects is described as a black or Middle Eastern man in his early 20s with a thin build, short dark hair and armed with a black handgun. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his early 20s with an average build. They were seen fleeing in a small electric blue hatchback, police said.
