Oakland police today announced the arrest of a suspect who allegedly robbed at least two people at an ATM last week.

In the evening hours of both last Thursday and Friday, victims were robbed while using an ATM in the 400 block of Lake Park Avenue, police said.

Investigators collaborated with the victims and bank security to identify the suspect, who they learned had been arrested in a neighboring city on unrelated charges.

Oakland police believe that the suspect, whose name was not immediately released, may be responsible for other ATM robberies in neighboring cities.
