Man Stabbed In Back By Pair With Knife In San Francisco

A 26-year-old man was stabbed in the back in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood Saturday afternoon, police said today.

The stabbing was reported at 1:48 p.m. at Golden Gate Avenue and Leavenworth Street, police said.

Two suspects, believed to be in their mid 20s, chased the victim down the street and stabbed him with a knife in the back near his shoulder, police said.

The man was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.

The two suspects ran away and had not been caught as of this morning, police said.
