Police are seeking information about suspects who burglarized two neighboring residences in Sausalito Friday and today, police said.

The Sausalito Police Department received reports that two residences on Cloud View Road near Booker Avenue were burglarized. The first was reported burglarized on Friday afternoon and the second was reported burglarized this afternoon.

During the burglaries, jewelry, cameras, and computer equipment were taken from the homes, police said.

A suspect associated with these burglaries has been described as a black male in his 20s with an athletic build, police said.

The suspect was seen leaving the area in a silver, mid 2000s BMW. The car may be missing its front license plate and may have slightly tinted windows. Police said the car might have a handicap placard hanging in the window and that a black male was seen driving the BMW, police said.

Sausalito police are urging citizens to keep the doors and windows to their homes closed and locked as a deterrent to possible burglars. Citizens are also asked to report to police any suspicious persons or vehicles seen in their neighborhood.
