Philadelphia police looking to identify the suspect for multiple commercial robberies in Fishtown and Harrowgate.
On Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at 12:43 am, the complainant, a 37 year-old male, was working behind the register at a 7-11 store located at 23 West Girard Avenue when an unknown male entered the store and approached the counter. The suspect lifted his shirt and placed his right hand on a handgun he had tucked into his waistband demanding money. After the complainant handed the suspect $20 from the register the suspect demanded more money. After taking $40 in cash the suspect fled the store on foot and was last seen west on Girard Avenue.
On Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at 3:18 am, the complainant, a 47 year-old male, was working inside a 7-11 store located at 3359 Kensington Avenue when an unknown male entered the store and approached the complainant who was behind the counter stating he had a handgun demanding money. When the complainant yelled to another employee that they were being robbed the complainant grabbed a stick and chased the offender from the store on foot and was last seen east on Ontario Street. Nothing was taken.
Suspect Description: White or Hispanic male, 6’0?, clean shaven, medium build, short brown hair,wearing a blue checkered shirt, blue jeans, black sneakers.
