A Santa Rosa man was arrested this morning after police said he burglarized the Ridgeway Swim Center.

Michael Hughes, 28, was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of burglary tools, possession of stolen property and violation of parole.

Officers responded to the swim center at 45 Ridgeway Avenue after receiving an alarm signal.

Arriving officers saw a man running from the west side of the building, according to Santa Rosa police.

Officers located the suspect, later identified as Hughes, on the property of Santa Rosa High School, police said.

Police said a computer and other items stolen from the swim center were found on the route between the center and where Hughes was captured.
