Police Looking For Suspect In West Oakland Shooting

A man was shot in West Oakland this morning and police are looking for his attacker, a police officer said.

The shooting was reported at about 9 a.m. near the corner of 26th and Willow streets, near Mandela Parkway, police Officer J. Moore said.

The victim was found there suffering from a gunshot wound and was taken to a hospital. Moore did not know his condition.

Moore said police have the name of a suspect in the shooting and are looking for the armed man.
