John Antonio Flores Dies After Shooting South Of King City

A 20-year-old man died from gunshot wounds Tuesday after Monterey County sheriff’s deputies found him lying on a street in an unincorporated area south of King City, according to the sheriff’s office.

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the area of 51201 Pine Canyon Road on a report of a shooting and located the man, John Antonio Flores, suffering from several gunshot wounds, sheriff’s Sgt. Terry Kaiser said.

Flores was transported to Mee Memorial Hospital in King City, where he was pronounced dead, deputies said.
