Foster’s Freeze Robbery in Watsonville, Police Investigating

Police are investigating a Thursday night armed robbery at a Foster’s Freeze restaurant in Watsonville. Officers responded to the Foster’s Freeze at 1487 Freedom Blvd. around 8:50 p.m. after receiving a call about an armed robbery, according to Watsonville police. Restaurant employees told investigators a male suspect armed with what appeared to be a BB gun entered the business and demanded money from the cash register.

The suspect then fled the business on foot towards Arthur Road with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the robbery. Police said the suspect is a Hispanic male about 5 foot 7 inches tall and with a medium build. He was dressed in black clothing and was wearing a black mask and black gloves.
