Two men were arrested last week on suspicion of burglary after they were found hiding in a Los Altos neighborhood, a police sergeant said. Police received a call about suspicious people in the area of the 200 block of Hawthorne Avenue on Thursday around 5:20 a.m., Sgt. Mark Bautista said.

Officers arrived to the scene and found two men hiding who had items from a nearby home, he said. Officers confirmed a burglary happened at the home and arrested the men, Bautista said. Police searched the suspects’ vehicle nearby and recovered stolen property from other residential and car burglaries that happened in the city, he said. Mountain View resident Nathan Hubbard and San Jose resident Isaiah Magee, both 20, were booked into Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and conspiracy.
