Police on Friday arrested a man wanted on a $100,000 domestic battery warrant out of Fresno County, according to the Scotts Valley Police Department.
Police said Richard Upshaw, 41, was taken into custody after the department received a Crime Stoppers tip Upshaw was living in a RV in the city under a false identity.
Police said Upshaw was in possession of methamphetamine, a spring-loaded knife, a false California ID and equipment and documents used for counterfeiting U.S. currency and manufacturing false IDs.
Upshaw was arrested on the outstanding warrant and on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a prohibited weapon, forgery and identity theft.
