Purse Snatching in Walnut Creek, Police Investigating

Police are attempting to locate a man who snatched a woman’s purse in downtown Walnut Creek Friday morning. The woman was walking on Olympic Boulevard near South Main Street around 10:45 a.m. when a man grabbed her purse from her and ran into the Plaza Escuela East parking garage, according to police. The man was seen getting into a white pickup truck with two other males in the vehicle. Police later learned that a delivery truck driver in the area witnessed the robbery.
