Police are looking for an armed suspect who robbed a Watsonville gas station and market on Tuesday afternoon, a police sergeant said.

The robbery at E’s Ranch Milk at 1 S. Green Valley Road occurred around 2:10 p.m., Sgt. Morgan Chappell said.

The suspect entered the market and demanded money from the register, Chappell said.

The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect, who then fled, according to Chappell.

No shots were fired during the incident and no one was injured, he said.

Police do not know if the suspect had accomplices or acted alone, Chappell said.
