Suspect Sought In Armed Robbery Of MetroPCS Store

Police are asking for help finding a suspect who robbed a MetroPCS store in Oakland’s Temescal neighborhood on Wednesday evening.

The armed robbery happened at the MetroPCS store at 5131 Telegraph Ave. at about 5:20 p.m., police Capt. Anthony Toribio said.

Investigators are seeking a suspect described as a black man between 25 and 30 years old, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He was wearing a black beanie, a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, sunglasses and gloves during the robbery, Toribio said.
