Fremont police are investigating two separate armed robberies in Centerville Community Park on Sunday afternoon.

Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the park located at 3355 Country Drive around 4:25 p.m., police said.

The male victim told arriving officers that three or four men robbed him and fled the scene in a light brown vehicle, according to police.

Around that same time, another male victim reported an attempted armed robbery by the same suspects, police said.

Officers searched the area for the suspects but were unable to find them, according to police.

One of the suspects is described as a Hispanic man between 18 and 20 years old with shoulder-length wavy hair who was seen leaving the park with two or three other men, police said.
