Officers arrested one person for public intoxication and broke up a dozen fights during Petaluma’s Butter & Egg Days Parade and Festival on Saturday, police said.
The annual event marked its 33rd year of celebrating all things grown, hatched, incubated, and raised in Petaluma with a parade and festival.
This year the crowds of people resulted in Petaluma police officers responding to 12 calls of people fighting in public, two calls of public intoxication, a report of alcohol theft from a grocery store and an act of vandalism, Petaluma police Sgt. Ed Crosby said.
One person was also arrested for public intoxication, Crosby said.
