Two Men Wounded in Oakland Shootings

Two men were injured in separate shootings in East Oakland this morning, according to police. The first shooting was reported around 9:30 a.m. in the area of 98th Avenue and Plymouth Street, police said. The victim suffered at least one gunshot wound and was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

Police said a second shooting was reported around 10:30 a.m. in the 1500 block of 92nd Avenue. Officers found a gunshot victim at the scene. He was transported to a hospital where he was last listed in stable condition. No suspect information was available in connection with either shooting, and investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
