A Rohnert Park woman was arrested after she turned herself in to Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office officials Friday morning in connection with the 2012 death of her infant child in Billings, Mont. Amanda Rose Steffan, 23, turned herself in shortly before 11 a.m. Friday and was arrested around 5 p.m. on suspicion of homicide, according to Sgt. Shannon McAlvain. Billings police were notified and a holding order was issued. Gilbert has been booked without bail due to a pending out-of-state arrest warrant, McAlvain said.
