Teen Shot Dead Wednesday Night In Antioch Identified As DeJesus Guerrero

A boy who was shot dead in Antioch on Wednesday night has been identified as 16-year-old Jose DeJesus Guerrero, a Contra Costa County coroner’s deputy said this morning.

Officers responding to a report of a shooting in the 4900 block of Country Hills Drive around 8:40 p.m. found the teen suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Emergency responders tried to revive him but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further details about the shooting were immediately available.
