A man who was fatally shot in the 1000 block of Willow Street in West Oakland at about 9 a.m. on Wednesday was identified by police today as 20-year-old Marjon Fuller.

Oakland police said Fuller, who lived in the area, was shot multiple times and collapsed into the nearby Sharif Market but died in an ambulance on his way to the hospital.

Police haven’t released any information about suspects or a motive for the shooting but they said they’re asking for the public’s help in locating the suspects’ vehicle.

They describe it as a white, four-door 2011 or newer Mercedes GLK sports utility vehicle.

Police said they would like to talk to people who saw the vehicle and its occupants in the area of 11th and Willow streets at about 9 a.m. Tuesday or witnessed the shooting or saw the suspects’ vehicle fleeing the scene afterward.

Oakland police said people with information should call their homicide unit at (510) 238-3821 or Crime Stoppers of Oakland at (510) 777-8572.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case.
