A man was arrested during two DUI checkpoints in Santa Rosa on Friday night, a police sergeant said.
The checkpoints took place in east Santa Rosa between 9 p.m. Friday and 3 a.m. Saturday, Sgt. Brad Conners said.
Officers screened 446 vehicles and arrested 43-year-old Santa Rosa resident Peter Korreng on suspicion of driving while impaired by drugs, Conners said.
During the checkpoints 32 drivers were either cited or arrested for operating a vehicle without a license or with a suspended or revoked license, he said.
In addition, 12 citations were issued for miscellaneous vehicle code violations, according to Conners.
The checkpoints were funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
