The U.S. Immigration and Customs Service released information about an El Salvadoran national who fled in January 2013 following his indictment in San Jose for possessing and distributing child pornography.

Jose Alberto Centurion Cruz, formerly of Sunnyvale, was indicted by a federal grand jury after investigators located more than 100 sexually explicit videos of minors on his laptop and digital storage drives, according the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Centurion Cruz was scheduled to appear in U.S. District Court in San Jose last month but did not appear. Centurion Cruz, an El Salvadoran national, may have fled to his native country.
