Three men were hospitalized after a physical altercation in East San Jose Friday night, a police spokesman said. Officers responded to a report about a fight in the 1500 block of East San Fernando Street at about 9:15 p.m., Officer Albert Morales said. When officers arrived, they found two men suffering from at least one stab wound each, Morales said.
Both victims were transported to a hospital to be treated for their injuries. Their conditions were not immediately available. Morales said officers found the suspect in the fight a short time later. He was transported to a hospital to be treated for injuries suffered in the fight.
It appears the three men involved in the fight knew each other, according to Morales. While the motive of the fight is unknown, Morales said it does not appear to be gang-related. Police continue to investigate.
