Walmart Alleged Robbers Caught on Camera, Tucson Police Release Photos

The Tucson Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying two suspects who robbed a local Wal-Mart in the 2700 block of South Houghton Road.

On January 4, 2014, Wal-Mart’s loss prevention personnel observed the below pictured female suspect conceal items in her purse. She then walked out with a male suspect who is also pictured below.

As the two began to leave the store without purchasing the concealed items, loss prevention staff approached them. The male suspect pulled out a knife and swung it at three employees telling them not to touch the female. The suspects got into a gold Cadillac and fled the area.

The male suspect was described as an African American in his 30’s, 5’4’’ tall, 120 to 130 pounds, wearing camouflage shorts, white shirt, and a black baseball cap.

The female was described as an African American or Hispanic, approximately 30 years of age, 5’8’’ tall, 180 pounds, with red-highlighted hair. She was wearing blue jeans, white shirt, red jacket, and carrying a purse with a white strap.
