Woman Shot In San Francisco Supermarket Parking Lot

A woman was shot in the leg as she left a supermarket in San Francisco’s Outer Mission District on Wednesday evening, police said.

The shooting was reported at 7:26 p.m. in the 2900 block of Alemany Boulevard.

Pacific Supermarket is located at 2900 Alemany Blvd. Staff there this morning declined to comment on the incident.

A 28-year-old woman was leaving the supermarket with friends when she was hit by gunfire in the parking lot, according to police.

She was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with a gunshot wound in her leg, an injury not considered life-threatening, police said.

Two male suspects got away in a silver car, according to police.
