Police in San Leandro are investigating a home invasion robbery in which two suspects tied up a victim on Wednesday afternoon. Officers responded to a report of a robbery at a home in the 1100 block of Donovan Drive at about 2:20 p.m., police said.

The victim told police that two men, one armed with a gun, forced their way into the home. The unarmed suspect tied up the victim, according to police. Police said the victim was also blindfolded and sprayed with a pepper spray-type of chemical. The two suspects ransacked the home and fled with an undisclosed amount of items, police said. The victim was eventually able to free himself and alert a neighbor, who called police. The victim did not need medical attention, according to police.
