Oakland police are seeking the public’s help in finding two armed men who they believe committed home-invasion robberies at two homes on the same street in East Oakland on Friday night. Police said both incidents occurred in the 1600 block of 65th Avenue shortly after 8:40 p.m. on Friday. The two suspects forced their way into a residence at gunpoint and robbed the victims and then ran across the street and committed another home-invasion robbery, police said. The suspects then fled westbound toward 64th Avenue, according to authorities.
Police described one of the suspects at a black man between the ages of 25 and 30 who is 6-foot-3, weighs about 150 pounds and has tattoos on both arms. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, dark jeans and a black cap with a skull logo, police said. The other suspect is described as a black man who is about 19 years old and is 5-foot-9 and 120 pounds and was wearing a black sweatshirt, black jeans and brown shoes.
Both suspects should be considered armed and dangerous, authorities said.
