Two teens were shot in South Berkeley on Monday night and when they arrived at the hospital one was arrested on a no-bail warrant from Oakland, Berkeley police said.

The shooting was reported at 9:41 p.m. in the 1500 block of Harmon Street, police Officer Jennifer Coats said.

Responding officers found no victims but recovered shell casings and found damage to a home and cars nearby, Coats said.

Two victims, a 16-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man, showed up at Highland Hospital a short time later with gunshot wounds. Their injuries were not life-threatening, Coats said.

When officers went to the hospital to talk to the victims, they discovered one of them had a no-bail warrant out of Oakland and notified Oakland police, Coats said.

Oakland police officers responded to the hospital and arrested him, Coats said.
