Authorities in Antioch conducted numerous probation searches Wednesday, leading to the arrest of three men, police said. The operation conducted seven searches throughout the city, searching for non-violent, non-serious probationers. Police arrested three Antioch men, ages 22, 23 and 46, for violations.
The 22-year-old was arrested for being a felon in possession of ammunition; the 23-year-old for a parolee at large warrant; and the 46-year-old for possession of narcotics for sale and being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
The Antioch police operation was conducted in partnership with the Richmond, Concord and Pittsburg police departments, the California Department of Corrections, California Department of Justice, and the Contra Costa County sheriff’s office, probation department and district attorney’s office. Further information about the operation was not immediately available.
