San Jose Police Probe Shooting Near San Tomas Expressway

San Jose police are looking for suspects in a shooting that wounded one person early Thursday morning near the San Tomas Expressway in West San Jose. At about 12:55 a.m. Thursday, officers were notified of a victim who reported being shot while in the area of Williams Road and Boynton Avenue, police said.

The victim, who was wounded by at least one shot, was transported to a local hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, police said. The victim was only able to provide limited information about the shooting and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
