Morgan Hill police are working with the FBI to locate a man suspected of robbing a Wells Fargo Bank on Friday after claiming to have a gun, police said today. The bank, located in the 17000 block of Monterey Road in Morgan Hill, was robbed at about 1:53 p.m. Friday, when a man approached a teller and demanded money while saying he had a gun, police said. The teller, who did not see a gun, handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the robber then fled the bank on foot, according to police.
Police and the FBI are looking for a suspect described as a black man in his mid to late 30s, from 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighing about 180 pounds, police said.
